Danke Schoen

there is no better way to say "Thank You" to our crew that worked on "The Three Investigators and the Secret of Skeleton Island" then to sing Wayne Newton's song "Danke Schoen". the song has been playing in our head for some time now, especially every time we pass a billboard in Berlin showing the movie poster (pretty much every single one right now). so here we go: Danke Schoen Florian Schröder for being a kick-ass lead compositor who knows what he's talking about, both artistically and technically. Danke Schoen Mohsen Mousavi for running the cgi part of the show almost on your own as technical director and lead artist, including modelling, lighting, animation, simulation, and rendering. Danke Schoen to our compositors Joerg Bruemmer, Benjamin Krebs, Michael Lankes, Claudia Lechen, Dirk Matzkuhn, Natalie Meffert, Christian Pundschus, Bastian Schreitling, Gregory Schuchmann, Florian Schuck, Tim Stern, Michael Wagner and Jonathan Weber for literally putting everything together, making it look cool and consistent. Danke Schoen Andreas Adamek for painting sets that don't exist in the real world, Mareike Hilgenfeldt for rotoscoping the impossible, Simon Ohler for the best cgi airline ticket ever and Alexander Nietzold for programming all the tools that made our life so much easier. so Danke Schoen everyone, hoping to see you soon - knowing that Danke Schoen is correctly spelled Dankeschön... if you are reading this and you haven't worked on the movie or haven't seen it yet or both: go to a theatre tomorrow, smile at the lady at the counter and buy a ticket. the movie launches nationwide in germany on 8th november - which is tomorrow. it's one hell of a ride!
